AlarmMessage is a companion app for organizations with a configured SCADAReach monitoring site. Your organization’s SCADAReach administrator sets up your account and assigns it to a monitoring site.
The app does not create accounts or monitoring sites. Contact your organization if you need access.
Active shows current, unacknowledged alarms for your assigned sites. Select Acknowledge and confirm to record your response. After the server confirms it, that alarm moves to History.
History shows acknowledged or cleared alarms, with their timestamps. Acknowledging an alarm records an operator response; it does not repair equipment or clear the condition in your control system.
Repeated events can have similar messages. Compare their created and acknowledged times to distinguish separate occurrences. Refresh the screen if your connection was interrupted.
Existing alarms do not necessarily send a new notification when you sign in. If the issue continues, contact support with the time, phone model, app version, and a description of what happened. Do not send your password.
On Sign In, select Forgot Password?, enter your registered email address, and request a code. Enter the emailed code and choose a new password. You need access to that email inbox.
If signing in reports that your email address still needs to be verified, select Enter Verification Code instead. Enter your email address and the code that was sent to it, or use Resend Verification Code. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive.
If sign-in fails for another reason, contact your organization’s SCADAReach administrator; accounts and site access are set up for you.
If you no longer have access to the mailbox, contact support. Never share passwords or verification codes in support requests.
An empty Active list can mean there are no current unacknowledged alarms for your assigned sites. Already acknowledged or cleared events appear in History.
If you expected an alarm, refresh the list, check your internet connection, and ask your organization to confirm that your account is approved and assigned to the correct site. A loading error is not confirmation that there are no alarms.
Follow your organization's normal operating procedures when responding to alarm conditions.
Sign Out returns you to Sign In and removes that login's device registration. It does not delete your account.
Delete Account, in Settings, permanently removes your AlarmMessage identity, registered devices, and site-subscription records after confirmation. It is not a sign-out action.
If you cannot access the app, use the account-deletion request page. See the Privacy Policy for information about data handling.
